WHY SHOULD WE EAT "BEYOND ORGANIC" BEEF?

If you're like some friends i have...you're still skeptical...wondering why the alterations that take place by feeding cattle grain are so bad.  Or maybe you don't care about Omega 3 fatty acids, or maybe you even want your beef to be treated with vaccines.  Our beef is not for everyone.  Some people feel it's worth it to sacrifice a little health benefits to have a juicy grain fed beef steak.  We at Alaska Meat Company respect people of those view.

GRASS FED OR GRAIN FED BEEF?

Before i begin, may i clarify that I am using the term "Grass Fed" rather than "Pasture Fed" because our wild cattle do not know what a "pasture" is.  They are THAT free roaming.  However, some traditional ranches may use the term pasture fed with similar meaning.  Did you know that grass fed beef products have less fat and more vitamin E, beta carotene and cancer-fighting fatty acids than factory-farm products?  All across the country, people are returning to this ancient and healthier way of choosing meat for the family.

Grass fed cattle have 300 times less E. coli bacteria in their intestines than grain fed cattle.    Should we advocate grass fed then?  Our beef goes beyond that.  Let’s compare “organic”, “natural”, “grass fed”, and “commercially raised” cattle:
